I think we can all agree that one of the biggest (if not the biggest) cause of stress is money worry. It’s an essential part of surviving and it can seem like such a burden sometimes having to manage your money. But here are 3 Money management tips for leading a more productive life:

1Keep a record of outgoing expenses

By monitoring your outgoings, you can gain an understanding of your finances which will stand you in good stead when it comes to potential future investments, and this will ensure the money you do spend goes as far as possible.

We all know how easy it is to overspend, but by keeping a record of what you spend on a daily basis, you’ll have a better idea of where the money is going.

2Put Your Savings To Work

If you’ve saved up a lump sum for the future, it’s obviously important to make sure you’re putting that money to the good use. There are always opportunities to increase your savings through investment — bonds offer small but steady rates of interest, while if you’re looking for larger potential rewards, researching stock trading could be something to consider.

Admittedly, the risks are higher (and it’s possible to lose money as well as make it), however by studying market movements, you could gain the knowledge required to earn good profits. Learning how financial markets work, using the wealth of market-insight resources available online, or an IFA,  you can try to grow your savings pot and turn a profit on your existing capital.

3: Research Crowdfunding Opportunities

Have you ever considered crowdfunding? Raising money for projects by presenting investment opportunities to a large number of people, which offers significant opportunities with limited risk.

Not only does crowdfunding allow you to begin a business venture with a reduced capital investment, it can also increase the profile of that venture as investors spread the word — and if the business is successful, everyone’s a winner!

As an investor in crowdfunding there is a potential opportunity to earn more than you will in more traditional places.  If you have some spare cash around and like the idea of investing in start up’s or growing businesses, this might be an option for you.
